Southern soul band St. Paul and the Broken Bones took us to church during the Old Town School of Folk Music’s 2023 Blue Jean Gala. Once opening for the Rolling Stones, the Birmingham, Alabama 8-piece band is led by Paul Janeway, whom Rolling Stone Magazine calls “a History Channel of R&B vocalizing, thrilling and powerful.
