We work closely with mills as well as consumers to provide customized solutions for the market, and we’ve led the just-in-time delivery concept of SBQ products. Extensive inventories of standard grades of carbon and alloy steels in various conditions of supply in a broad range of sizes are maintained in both Chicago and Houston. Magellan also has customer-specific stocking programs in those facilities to service our clients.

Stainless is an ideal material for applications demanding both strength of steel and corrosion resistance, with added benefit of being low maintenance. The presence of chromium in the alloy forms a passive film that serves to protect from corrosion, and can even self-heal in the presence of oxygen with the chromium oxide layer rapidly reforming. Stainless steel is 100% recyclable.
